Transparent pricing, no surprises. We want cost to be the last thing standing between you and getting help.
All sessions are 50 minutes. Fees vary by therapist based on experience and specialization.
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, HSA, and FSA cards. Payment is collected at the start of each session. We do not require long-term commitments or packages — you pay session by session.
We are an out-of-network practice. Many clients with PPO insurance plans receive significant reimbursement — here's exactly how it works.
Payment is collected at the time of each session. We accept credit, debit, HSA, and FSA cards.
After each session we give you a detailed superbill — an itemized receipt with all the diagnosis and procedure codes your insurer needs.
You submit the superbill to your PPO insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be reimbursed 40–80% of the session fee.
We do not accept HMO plans. If you have a PPO plan, call your insurer before your first session to understand your benefits.
When a practice bills insurance directly, the insurance company — not you and your therapist — controls how many sessions you can have, what diagnoses can be treated, and sometimes even what treatment approaches can be used. By working outside of that system, we can give you the kind of care your situation actually needs, for as long as it takes, without those limitations. Many clients find that the out-of-network reimbursement still makes the cost very manageable.
It varies significantly by plan. PPO plans typically reimburse 40–80% of the "usual and customary" rate for therapy once your out-of-network deductible is met. The best way to find out is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask specifically about out-of-network mental health benefits. We're happy to help you understand what questions to ask.
A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes your therapist's license number, the session date, the CPT procedure code (the billing code for therapy), and a diagnosis code. Your insurance company uses this to process your reimbursement claim. We provide one after every session. You simply submit it through your insurer's app, website, or by mail — the process is usually straightforward and takes about 10 minutes.
Timothy Kang's rate of $150/session is our most accessible price point. We don't currently offer a formal sliding scale, but if cost is a genuine barrier, please mention it when you call — we'd rather find a way to make it work than have you go without care.
Yes. Therapy is an eligible expense under both Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You can use your HSA or FSA card directly at the time of payment — no reimbursement process needed.
Yes, completely. The 15-minute consultation call has no charge and no obligation. It's a chance for you to ask questions, describe what you're going through, and get a sense of whether this therapist feels like the right fit — before you commit to anything. If it's not the right match, we'll do our best to point you toward someone who is.
No charge, no commitment. Just a conversation to see if we're the right fit — and to answer any questions you have about cost or insurance before you decide.
